Dealers can cut the keys.... the questions is whether or not they would. Most if not all dealers will not cut an aftermarket key, and quite a few won't even cut a OEM (Honda or Acura) key if you don't buy it from them.

My advice is buy the OEM switchblade key & cover online, then call the closest ~20-30 dealerships to you to see if they will cut the key and how much, eventually you'll find a good dealer. I got my key cut & transponder programmed for $49.99+ tax. And iirc, you do need to bring all your keys so they can reprogram them (the transponder code, I believe).

Thanks for posting the pics! I have been thinking about doing a switchblade mod except with my autostart circuit board inside, however I'm a long ways away (engineer- and free time-wise) from even trying to figure out a way to make a big bulky key like this.

Got this done for my 2012 today.

Cutting it at the Stealership was 15.00 programming was 50.00. Very pricy but I must admit... I love it.

Thank you for posting the part numbers, it made it easy.
