I love the box, it's deliciously retro 90s. Hopefully it doesnt suck as bad as their filters (supposedly) but I mean its a tube and fin cooler, you'd have to be trying in order to screw that up.
That's more like 60-80's than 90's. And it's somewhat retro, but more timeless than anything.

Not so bad really, I was seeing about 5~8mpg on circuit yesterday (according to the meter on the display) and top speed was only 111km/h down the 260m straight, I might have been able to pull out another km/h or 2 if I pushed even harder and got on the brakes a little bit later, but using my everyday tires, I didn't want to completely roast them. Got about 52 laps in yesterday during the (3) 15min sessions. Fit needs a diff and a better sussy than the Honda Access setup; in due time. Another thing that I'm upset about, I wasn't even thinking and didn't turn off the damn traction control all day long...HOW STUPID!!!

Got me a looker today.

I was heading home and driving my usual way (a tad too fast for most). So I came down the ramp to the highway fast enough to catch up to an SUV. Luckily for me, I had some room between us and the whole highway to my right... so I did a double lane change and took off. The SUV on the other hand... put a little bit of effort to catch up to me (easily, since I caught up to traffic in front of me), then I lane changed in preparation of taking my exit. The SUV speeds up... right next to me and the passenger stares at my car. I'm guessing they're trying to figure out what it is. I notice them and I took off again, one more lane change and zoom up the ramp.

Yesterday, I had a looker then too. I pulled up behind a car at a stop light and noticed a few seconds later the chick in the passenger seat (of the car to my left) rolling down her window. I turned to look at her (in case she wanted directions or something). But, she was just staring at the Fit and didn't look at me. So, I waited for the light and when it changed.... I didn't take off. Up ahead was a car carrier in my lane, so I slowly pulled behind the car that was checking out the Fit. Man, they drive slowwwwww.

Now people just stare at the intercooler. I can tell if they know what it is or not by their reaction. It's really disgusting how many people don't even know what an intercooler is. Also, I've a had few chicks go. "ARR MATEY" when they see the pirate ship.

I get the most stares in my escort though. It has a turquoise hood on a dark blue body. I couldn't find the right color in a junkyard so said to hell with it.

Insurance sales SUCKS! It's the part of my job I hate the most. Thankfully it's only a very small part since I deal with existing customers. I wish I could explain how hard it is to convince someone they need even renter's insurance, let alone some of the more advanced products like personal umbrella.

*having aleady completed their original request to add a vehicle to their policy*
Me: Including the discount on your auto insurance it would only be $3 a month more for renter's insurance @ 15k worth of protection and $250 deductible.
customer: Doesnt't my landlord cover my stuff...
Me: No, he doesn't care about your belongings, he only insures his property, the building.
customer: Well, I still don't think I need it.
Me: Can you afford to replace all the things inside your apartment if they were stolen or there was a fire?
customer: no
Me: It's a no brainer then!
customer: I need to think about it
Me: Well, what's on your mind?
customer: I just don't think I need it.
Me: Alright, now if there was a fire not only would we pay for your belongings, we would also pay for you to stay at another place while your apartment was being repaired. That way you would't be stuck staying with mom in the meantime. We also cover you for $100,000 worth of liabilty coverage in case someone ever sues you.
customer: well that's nice, but I still don't want to pay extra
Me: It's 3 dollars...
customer: are we done with adding my car?
Me: Yes, thanks for your business, have a great day.

I swear people think I'm trying to sell them *fraud alert* on their credit card for $5 a month or something. The worst part is when the Renter's insurance is FREE because they get a bigger discount on their auto insurance than their renter's insurance costs and they still don't want it...

The management at the place I'm currently residing at in Texas *requires* that one have renters insurance and provide proof of said insurance.

For me, coverage of a temporary place to live while my place is repaired is worth the cost... replacement of items damaged is a bonus.

Well that's because your a minority. Specifically an intelligent, forward thinking American with a grasp for abstract thought.

They are terrifyingly rare as I find on a daily basis.

People will spend $160/month for their iPhone, and ~$180/month for the cable and internet they watch on their ~$4k flat screen or surf on their ~$1500 desktop. Yet they won't do ~$130/month for comprehensive insurance.

We are doomed. It's like "Idiocracy" was a documentary.
