Also, how much did you spend on the DDM ? I don't think lifetime warranty is a plus for me since I'm overseas. I'm actually thinking on getting some LED H11 6000k for my fit. But I don't know, I don't want to spend that much but definitely want something better than what I have right now.
Oh if you are overseas then another HID kit will work fine. All of them are made in the same factories in china lol.

I would stray away from LEDs, they just don't have the light output that HIDs do, especially for fogs.

Been having some crazy death rattle on the front passenger side wheel whenever I go over 65+ and sometimes at low speed. It feels like the wheel wants to fly right off. Very odd I thought it was related to the front Koni install after the axle fell out and my mechanic had to take everything apart to pop back in.

I brought it back yesterday to him and he retightened everything and said all's well from his end. He said i might need an alignment. So today I went to Firestone and got a lifetime alignment. The advisor also said that they recommend a wheel balance.

Alignment came back with the Front passenger at 1.0 as compared to 0.2 for the Front driver's side. Tech also said that all the wheels weren't equally balanced with two wheels heavier than the other two. The way i rotated it earlier this year had one of the heavier wheels on the Front passenger side and a lighter wheel on the Front drivers side. So he swapped out the the heavier wheel with one of the lighter wheels at the rear.

Vibration mostly went away. No more death rattle. I get a slight rattle on the passenger door, but that might be because I have the door panel off. Let's see how it does this week and i might bring the wheels for a full rebalance.

Plus ddm has a lifetime warranty.

P.S.- Sti lip looks good as is
Great thanks. One last question.. is your kit 35w or 55w? I see both listed (55w usually being about ten bucks more).. but not really sure the difference

autocrossed my fit for the first time today.

probably burned 3 months of tread off my all seasons. but learned a ton, and love the fit even more. probably get the ground control coils sooner now. and might get some r compounds for my steelies if i don't sell them first.

fun.

now i want a track day to see which i prefer.

@Ryu i had scary front passenger side death rattle last month. turned out to be 3 loose lugnuts! truly scary. torquing them 80lbs now. watch out for the guys at discount tire.

wish it was just the lugnuts. would have been an easy fixed.

I know most of you are against HID on headlights without retrofit, so in my defense, today I readjusted my bulbs so it won't affect any drivers on the road. I love how they look now, I drove around a bit and no one even bothered flashing me back (good sign!), I feel like a better citizen now. I will continue to test perhaps I will try to readjust them. Some pics although they don't do justice.

I'm using HID 8000k.

u seem real close to that wall. u need to check it against a 25 foot wall. it will be difficult to tell if ur lights are pointing up or down at that close of a distance to the wall.

I will try tomorrow on a bigger wall, I saw big improvement but I know I can get better lightning.

Thanks for the feedback!

heres an easier test actually. park a car length behind another car. adjust your lights so they are just below that car's sideview mirror.

35W is plenty, its a small housing so it doesn't need anything more.

phew. got out of work earlier than usual today and decided to tackle detailing the passenger side. finished right on time as it was getting dark. now i only got the hatch and rear bumper left. roof is low priority but i do want to get glaze sealant and wax down before the winter hits. vinyl they say is low maintenance. i did manage to get a couple of scratches out which was very impressive for me. unfortunately my side mirror has a pretty bad paint chip and i will need to retouch one of these days.

Assemble my 12 tons shop press that I bought from Summit Racing,
turn out some bolts, nuts, washer, spring washer are missing,
ask them to send it to me, and they respond very fast like within 15 minutes !!!
considering I just email them 30 minutes ago and it must be like almost midnight there at Summit Racing location...
Good Customer service!

I use other bolts for now just so I can install it:

I also do some disassemble the brembo hat from the rotor,
and then weigh all the parts...
I need to make custom hat with different offset and PCD,
so the machine shop need the brembo hat as sample...

Installed Windows Visors.

Also, my rear spoiler arrived, I'll be installing on Saturday and maybe painting it matte black; can't wait.
