I replaced windshield wipers with PIAA silicone, replaced all my bulbs with LED bulbs all throughout my exterior: headlights, fogs, side markers, turn signals, brakes, front and back. Added load resistors to turn signals to avoid hyperflash because LED uses much less power (I know, I should use a relay instead of resistors, but I've been too lazy lately to do the research and I had spare load resistors)

Yesterday one of the drive shafts on my 2009 manual transmission Fit broke in the middle of an intersection. There was a clunk and I couldn't propel my car anymore. Had it towed to the dealership less than 10 minutes away. Found out by the end of the day what happened and why. There's a brand new as of December 2020 recall on these drive shafts due to a processing problem of the coating. I guess I beat out the recall notices due to go out in February. But I get a loaner of a Honda Insight until they fix it.

Did a custom brake callipers covers yesterday and they look amazing. Mine is JDM RS version ,It has all wheel disk brakes already. So braking power is amazing. Just it needed was the looks which is now done. Check them out.

Convert those cheap brake covers into something amazing!
Check the whole process video down here
Specs: k24a2@GT3076R Turbo, 320 WHP right now on low boost.

Coming next will be Spirited driving and pulls video and i intend on making a complete guide how to do the k-swap from scratch to working reverse camera, especially the wiring portion which is most difficult.Stay tuned for that

Can you fit a 2009 Honda Fit Sports bumper on a 2013 Base Model?

it would require a different grille, the second gen got a facelift in 2012, making the grille larger than the first edition second gens.

The grille was unchanged for base models.

Yes, it is a direct fit.

Installed fander flares as my 215/55/16 were rubbing badly. In rear fender rolling worked but in front the fender walls are so thin, they went back after two-three days. So i had to cut them and install the flares.
To watch how i did,Here is video:

they were rubbing because those tires are both way too tall and too wide.

I am k24 turbo, So need wider tyres for traction and also i agree these tyres are tall,i have front low profile tyres for my drag race purposes, but in these pics street tyres are shown.
i have 225/25/17 and 205/50/16 for those purposes. But this is my family car and roads here are bumpy, crappy and a lot of nails on them,so these street cheap tyres are just a sacrifice :P

Changed my brake pads and rotors this weekend. I also had my local mechanic change my bake fluid and install some Power Stop brake calipers. Loving the red, now I just need some new wheels to match

I also removed the stock radio. Is there any interest from people wanting to put a stock navigation radio in their Fit, or are most people like me and remove the stock radio?
