The more positive the number the more tucked in it will be. The more negative the number the larger the lip and the further it will stick out.

a +50 offset would be more negative and a +30 would be more positive

low offset = the rim sticks OUT more ex: +35 and below

high offset = the rim sticks IN more ex: +45 and up

i think you meant +50 is more positive, and +30 would be more negative. which means +50 sucks your wheel in more towards the center of the car, while +30 will make them stick out more towards the fenders (if we're talking about two wheels of the same width).

There's a lot more to wheel fitment than just offset. On the fit, you should be fine with that size though. During my build, I'll make a little fitment guide for those who want to know more info.

Also, those above are correct - Lower the offset, the more out the wheels go, the higher the more in. Offset is pretty much where the hub is positioned in relation to the barrel. 0 offset of would dead center of the barrel, + offset is outward, - offset is inward. I know with the GD's you also have to watch the width, as there's not a lot of space on the inners.

It's a lengthy discussion, but like I said, I'll document and take measurements on my build.

someone posted this a while back and it really helped me, wheel fitment is tricky and sometimes you have to kinda just try or take professional advice...

The word "perfect" is subjective. What may be perfect fit for you, may not be perfect fit for someone else.

Got any more pics of your setup? side profile?

I just checked the thread. Looks good as far as no rubbing is concerned. There's still a good 10mm to go in the rear - easy.

Good drawings except the wheel centerline is halfway between the inside of the rim flanges rather than outside as shown. Surprisingly, not all wheels have the same flange thicknesses on both sides.
But other posts are correct, when you reduce the offset on a Fit wheel the wheel centerline pushes out from the hub so the tire gets closer to the fender arch.. The lowest offset for stock suspension is 42 mm on a wheel with 7" between flanges. 45 if you lower. And presumes tires of diameter no greater than stock (23.44" for 08, 24" for 09).
Going with wheels with lesser offsets that push the wheel further out usually means interference (rubbing) and modifying the body or fender arches.
