I'm not quite sure what it's called.. it's not the fuel filler cap, nor is it the gas door... but it just seems like on my Fit... it's missing a flap. The kind that stays closed until you go fill it up.. where the hose pushes the flap open but closes again when you remove the hose. Does anyone else have it or is anyone else missing that flap? It's dark out but when it's light out tomorrow I'll try to take some pictures. Anyway, please help relieve some concerns. Thanks in advance!

 

pretty sure mine doesn't have a flap. It's just open. No big deal.

Get a locking gas cap from a Honda Element. I got paranoid of people pouring shit in my tank so I had to get one

 

You are not missing any part Phil, our 09 FiTs don't have that flip-up cover at all.

 

Just use a match to light up the area.
