Maintenance Minder-Tire Rotation.

Anyone knows at what milage the tire rotation code pops up? The old schedule was 10K miles. I'm over 10K miles and still no warning.

Thanks

I think it comes up on the maintainence minder in conjunction with your oil change code. I think "1" is the tire rotation code. If you are changing your oil early (before 15%) and resetting the oil life meter, I suspect you won't see any other codes, so you may be on your own. Does anybody know for sure?

I would think the code will pop up independent of oil change. Otherwise, the MM is kind of useless. Maybe the new tire rotation is more than 10K miles?

I rotating mine at 10K miles anyway.

I just rotate them when the season changes. I have a set of both summer and winter tires.

Mine codes for tire rotation on every oil change (approx 6500 miles). I use the "old" Ford schedule of rotate after the first 5000 miles on the tires, every 10,000 thereafter. Works fine for me and less work.
