Sure you are going to be very pleased with the SWIFTs. Tohatsu is at the top in spring making here. I wish they would develop stabilizer bars for the GE as well. And as far as the ETC, it too will put a smile on your face, keep it in normal when taking off from the line and then hit the mode button to change to speed and if already in S7, your car will just lurch forward or change to economy and you can feel an immediate dull down.

I dunno...I placed my order with Evasive Motorsports this past Friday. I have an order confirmation email but no shipping email. I think I'll email them today and see what's up.

Got my throttle controller in after an evening of my car being a complete dumb@$$.
Anyways, it's in...and I'll be testing it out over the next few days to see what's up.

You plan on getting those springs, Mike?

So what's up with the throttle control...lol...I'm so out of it lately. I'm going to rely on you for all my fit info! I was checking pics of daniel's Fit...the usdm mugen one...I'm liking it.

By the way, isn't it crazy, after alllllll these years, you and I are on the same damn forum. Didn't we start off on clubsi?

LOL it is so crazy! Yeah Clubsi...gosh those guys were tools!!

The throttle controller is nice--I'm still trying to figure it all out.
It's installed but I want to make sure everything is good with it and working right so I can test it out--I just haven't had time. I'll update here when I get a chance to test it out (probably within the next few days).

How long are you going to be in Japan? You need to bring over tons of goodies.
I want some underbracing...LOL

Good to go!!! That is what I was expecting to see. Now that you mentioned there was a sticker, I can see that. Hope they will bring you some enjoyable miles.

Very good price compared to what they sell for in Japan, quite surprising, retail price here is like ¥42000 and converted into $ would be about $475.

Your springs are made by Tohatsu which also made cool little 2 stroke dual purpose motorcycles in the 60s.... Are you intimidated by the installation instructions.... I am not a drinker either and haven't had a cigarette in a month.

I still smoke a pipe a little but it is more of a ritual thing..... If the springs can be installed without being compressed it shouldn't take long to install them.

I'm too worried about the axle falling out. I've installed one set of springs before...on a friend's ep. I don't feel competant enough nor do I have the proper place or tools to complete the job. I am waiting until my birthday when I get some more money to pay to have them installed. Just don't know where yet.

BTW...the instructions inside the box did not have specifications for cutting bumpstops on the GE....so I emailed Swift about the spring install and cutting the bumpstops--

Per Swift, the bumpstops to not need to be cut for the 2009 Honda Fit (whoot!!)

Just in case anyone needed to know!

That's weird, maybe the drop isn't big enough? I thought cutting bumpstops was mandatory for all spring installs. I remember a thread where a guy had installed some DF's and his car was about an inch higher than everyone elses because he forgot to cut the bumpstops.

The stock shocks aren't valved for short springs with limited travel and the Swift Mach Springs with less coil winds spaced farther apart have more progressive spring rates, are lighter in weight and not as short in length...... Because of the design they have more travel and don't bind like other after market springs and actually improve the ride and handling..... Under what is normal driving conditions the small amount of drop provided by the Swift Mach Springs along with the design, alloy used and hardening process should prove to be the best performing springs to use with the stock struts and shocks and performance is always in style.
