Yeah Francisco--I was confused too but dang, if the manufacturer is saying not to--I'll try it like they say.

Coyote--thank you for that eloquent response.
Did you ever get yours?

Hey Amanda, I am getting a set of slightly used ones that were brought to Hurst from California on Thursday by the girlfriend of the young fitfreak I am getting them from....It is kind of crazy but I had mentioned to another guy that I was strongly considering getting this specific brand and type spring and he hooked us up at the same time I read that you had some ordered... It looks like I might celebrate my 60th birthday on the road to go get them.

That's pretty sweet!

My springs were Uncle Sam's present to me--and putting them on will be my present to myself.

I'm gonna be driving into the big D in order to get them put on...but for not as much as I thought originally :-D

I mean, come on... TW isn't even a color!

j/k TW isn't me... but it does make a very clean, nice looking GE.

Lol! You call that snow... a snow storm? Lucky you!

I have 2 1/2 feet in my yard and 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 feet pilled up around my driveway and walkways! It's beautiful... but "Go the h3ll away now, please!" I'm not at all used to this kind of snow. It's a pain in the rear dealing with it too. Especially in an area that isn't prepared for this much over such a short period of time.

Ready for spring!

If that is what you call "looking like sh!t", then you never have to worry about actually looking like sh!t! You look pretty darned healthy. Matter of fact, you got kind of a cute glow goin' on there.

I don't think women ever look bad. Seriously... every woman I've ever been with all think they look bad at certain times. Yet, those very times are when every guy in their path break their necks to look around or gawk at them as they walk by. That pic proves my point... you're sick and you still look good. Oh and, the white shades are cute on you too.

Looks like Adele still managed to get snow on her shoulders!

Hope you're feeling better soon.

Yeah really... It's sad when Texas has more snow than either you or us. This has been the most disappointing winter for snow that we've had here in a long time. The only snow left here is what's in the shade and has been here for a month.

Nothing like the Valentines Blizzard of 2008 - over 40" here in 1.5 days.

It's because we bought a new snowblower... that's it!

They are saying this is record snowfall in the Dallas, Fort Worth area but it has all melted where I am 100 miles south east of DFW....Btrthnezr3 is right at the half way point between.

As of today it is all melted--last night there were still some patches hanging around. I took more pics but they all suck because the light and snow made my car look weird, LOL.

I went and got my springs yesterday and have an exhaust header on the way so I need for it to get warm also... I am going to have to spend some time and money on my wife's old hot rod truck first or I will have the devil to pay....I am having to hide parts that she doesn't know about that will go on after I get the other stuff I need before I can use them.... It was the same with the other wives and girl friends too come to think of it.... Maybe this one will get over it.

And if not, well there are always more fish in the sea. Happy belated 60th by the way.

Sorry Amanda for straying off topic.

Hey, you have the same interior with me, same door trim, the seats, except, you have 3 headrest on the back seat, me, without the centre headrest.

wow...that quite snowy, I wish there's snow in Indonesia....

nice mods you have here...
have you install the lowering kit?
And how's the ETC? Is it fun?
I'm planning to install Pivot 3Drive Throttle Controller as well...

The Throttle Controller is awesome and fun!

Haven't installed the springs yet--waiting for a cheaper method. Have something lined up but I have to be patient ;-)

Future plans for the GE are a T1R intake...other than that, she's taking a hiatus on spending my money. Plan on buying a Macbook Pro (next month) and then an iPhone in November so I want to save for a while.

Then next spring I'll buy rims/tires.
But until then--I'm kind of waiting and spending money on other things...for now.
