Hey man the seats are covers called clazzios. Do a search and check the thread for availability and pricing. They are awesome and I love them!

Hi Btrthnezr3!

Just wanted to stop by and let you know you've got one of the nicest TW's I've seen, and I love your sig pic with your ep and ge! I've been following your thread since before I got my FIT (now going on 3 weeks) and you've made some great progress in a short time!

If you don't mind, I've got a few questions about the HKS exhaust...

1. Did you get it locally, or did you get it online? I'm kinda new at this modding stuff, so I'm not sure where to start (the HKS website did direct me to a dealer in my area, but not sure how to purchase from them)..and this is the first time I've considered an aftermarket exhaust (I've mainly stuck to grilles and wheels in the past) - is it easy to install?

2. You said that the noise isn't too loud (which is what I'm looking for), but it got deeper as it settled in - how is it now that you've had it a while?

3. And this is the big question/concern I have - did the exhaust affect your gas mileage at all? If so, how - worse, or better?

Thanks for all your great posts about your mods - I'm hoping once our snow stops I can actually get out there and drive my FIT and personalize it myself, and thanks in advance for any info you can pass along!

Atomic - go here for video of the HKS.
HKS Hi-Power Axle Back Exhaust System for 2009-2010 Honda Fit - P/N: 32003-BH006

Damn I am still waiting for mine. Some screw up with local dealer. I am tempted to buy from USA and get screwed over by UPS.

Oh Btrthnezr3 does look good. Nice clean rear. We got similar Clazzios and JDM tails.

Let me try to answer as best I can...

Thank you so much for your compliments...she's not where I want her to be but she will be eventually...

1. I LOVE my HKS. I wouldn't trade it for anything! It looks and sounds great! Just enough, and makes the car feel and sound so nice in 2nd and 3rd especially. The install is easy on paper, but for some reason my puny arms with my crappy hydraulic jack couldn't get the bolts off. Anyways, I had my local High School's auto department put it on (they have a lift). They had it on in just a few minutes and I gave them a donation for their fund...$15. You might want to look into that.

2. The noise is not too loud. Not as loud as the HKS was on my EP (which is understandable since on the ep it was a full exhaust and a bigger engine). There is no drone on the highway but it does sound nice in lower gears. Makes you feel like you are going somewhere ;-)

3. My gas mileage has stayed about the same--except that I have had my foot in it a little more so that I could hear it.

Hope that helps.

I hear ya. Intake+exhaust=bad mpg. Not because the mods cause them, your right foot wants to redline once in a while to hear that symphonic melody of growl and vroom.

If you can control your right foot, the intake and exhaust changes should give you an increase in fuel mileage

I am waiting for the weather to warm up a little before I do it.... I picked up a used header to put on as well while I am under the car and I will need to run to Tyler for a gasket.

Thanks for the input Btrthnezr3, I appreciate all the info! I've found a few of the HKS exhausts on eBay, still hoping to find a local dealer.

Good idea about the local highschool putting it on - never thought about that!

Keep up the good work with your GE, look forward to seeing your future mods!

Now, now, now!

Why?

Pics, pics, pics!

And of course, the other Swift info I'm curious about... after you've had a chance to try them.

BTW, what is "Better than Ezra," and who is Ezra anyway? (If I'm being too nosey, then just tell me to go away!

annunc8...hey Better than Ezra is a band...and was my FAVORITE band when I was about 14. That was around the time my parent's first got the internet (AOL). I made my screen name Btrthnezr3 as a result and it has "stuck". That is me on every forum I've ever been on...(and I've been on quite a few).

So yea!

Inertia! Yay so glad you decided to join up!
