cruise control does not work helpp..

cruise control does not work helpp..

ok guys my car is 4 weeks old and today i was on the turnpike and wanted to cruise on cruise control so i pressed the cruise button and the green light came on and than pressed set at 65mph and nutin happens?? am i doing something wrong i dont wanna call the dealer yet cause it might be something i am doing wrong ???

Read the manual. If you're doing it right, then a trip to the dealer is needed.

Have you performed any modifications?

Do you have a manual or automatic?


In one of my cars I was installing new speaker wiring and unplugged the brake/cruise control switch (the one that disengages cruise when you press the brake) because it was in the way. I forgot I disconnected it and when my cruise stopped working and the CEL popped on I hadn't realized what I'd done until after I bought an OBD-II scan tool. facepalm!

Yes I did modify the rear tail light bulbs with led ones maybe that's why .. and yes I read the manual lol

That would do it. It's mentioned in the LED taillight thread and happens on Civics too.
