Cosmo Racing Intake

I was wondering around on ebay and noticed this Cosmo Racing Intake for 09/10 Fits.
https://www.cosmoracing.com/productinfo.asp?pid=2159
They say its $90. Looks like is a cheaper alternative then the rest of the competition.
I'm not really in the market for an intake but wanted to ask if anybody had any experience with this company and or intake system just out of curiosity.

Did a little search and some maxima owners said they are ok...just make sure you have a better filter.

well in short there is no mechanical parts to it. just pipe and a
filter. so it should be good.
it all really depends on what you want really. short ram? long ram?
or even more technical. proven stuff that comes with paper
work to show it has gains in hp. not just jibberish talk of up to
5-10 hp.

agreed. you can probably get most of those parts at a local automotive store and DIY for less than $90

A friend of mine has one on his EF civic and it works fine. All we did was swap out the filter for a k@n cone and wrap the tube with header wrap and he was good for 4 hp on the dyno. He's been running it since last summer with zero issues.

My friend ordered one for me. It is supposed to arrive today. I will upload pics when it is installed. i was too lazy to build my own and didn't have to pay for this one.

so i put in the new intake but the CEL would come on and when i tried to start the car it would not idle, just start and then crap out. I removed the MAF from the tubing and the car was able to idle, but when giving too much gas it would "spudder." I had to put the stock intake back in and when i completed that, I realized I punctured the coolant tubing for the engine and it was dripping all over the engine. Now I have to bring the car back to the dealer and hope that they wont give me a hard time about it.
