Ge8 Base Front Lip

hey guys
do you know anywhere i can get a Base model Front Lip for my 09 Fit? i searched ebay, and i found one, but it said something like 07-11 so i was kinda skeptical about that. All the after market car parts sites, i been to do not have it. any help would be appreciated

I have yet to find one that fits the USDM base bumper. I've seen some for the JDM base bumper.

aww man to bad. i really really want a lip for my fit. i was going to do the sports conversion, but i decided to get a XOOM instead

. I still plan to get the sport front end, but probably next year. Thats why i need a lip for now. just to make it look a bit more mean. Any1 head of a DIY lip?

In for interest.

I was thinking removing the small 2" tall "lip" and then preforming said home depot lip as well as painting my grill openings when it gets warmer.

Either way, I want more base front bumper solutions rather than solely painting or foglights, or a combination.

Nice job.

Is it just me, or does the Fit remind you of a big mouse?

With the Sport bumper, it looks like a rabid mouse with fangs... and its about to bite your thing off. That's what I see when I stare at my Fit.

With the Base, it reminds me of a quiet mouse. Then with that paint job, a very happy smiling mouse.

For anyone interested in a lip for the Base GE8, take a look at the interest gauging thread I started for a JDP CF front lip for the Base GE8 (link below). I was looking for the same thing today and didn't find anything. We only need 10 people to get JDP started on prototyping which will only takes 2-3 weeks.
