New Fit Sport Owner

I am purchasing a Fit Sport this weekend. I have love this car since it came to the US. I am debating about mud guards. One dealer says "yes" they'll work, one dealer says "no".
Any thoughts.

Do you live in a muddy area? If yes, get them. If no, dont get them.

Supposedly, the OEM splash guards will not fit Sport due to body kit; however, there are many searches on this forum where people have used flat splash guards on sport model. OEM's will fit base, but not sport. I know either front or back will work, but other will not. Hope this helps.

I have a 2010 Sport, and I got just the back mud guards - the front ones won't fit over the side apron...

I got the back set at Bernardi:
Honda Splash Guards - Rear (Fit, Fit Sport) - Bernardi Honda Parts and Accessories

Hope that helps!

As Atomic says, although there is discussion around here on 'making' the fronts fit.... In my opinion they're just not worth it - front or rear. The Sport really isn't a mud hog, but it is up to you. I would consider tinting the rear 5 30%, however. That was my first gift to the FIT on the way home from the dealer.
