+1 for the self inflating camping mattress. And REI. And the trunk floor (it is pretty flimsy).

To the OP: what cities do you plan on seeing?

edit: you do realize that you have about 5' to stretch out in with the rear seats folded down?

This is available for only $7,500.
Wilt Chamberlain could stretch out in it.

If your route isn't predetermined, you could plan your trip to travel the southern states during the winter and stay northern during the summer. Doing that would reduce your need for both the heater and the AC.

If my AC didnt stop running in 130k miles of service I am sure you will have no issues idling the bitch for the night.
