There is a thread some were about hooking them up but sorry I cannot find it right now.

You do not need the Honda ambient to alter unless you want the dash switch.
Did you have to buy the plug? Or was it there already with the blue and pink wires and you tapped into these?

Do you recall if they are both hot and why there are two? I would have expected a single connection and then just going to ground. Maybe these are hot and ground (with variable resistance on the ground) to ramp the lights down the way the dome does.

Edit: found the thread (it would'a bit me if it were a snake).

Do your underdash lights ramp up/down in a similar fashion to the dome light, or are they just on/off?

Are your underdash lights CCFTs with a driver module?

Sorry for too many questions. Thanks for posting this. I might play some with the LEDs and resistors I have rolling around my parts box.

Go here. For whatever reason one is hot and one is ground

https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/fit-...-big-pics.html

They work same as dome light ie when you hit fob to unlock they come on and stay on til door is closed.

Are your underdash lights CCFTs with a driver module? No idea what CCFT and driver module is/are

Thanks, better pics on that link. (I found the other and linked it above.)

Sorry, CCFT=cold cathode fluorescent tube. These require high A/C voltage to light and would have an external module that takes 12V to provide this.

That is what I have. Duh. Anyhow the link above to the LED strips I put on my Caravan would work and a bit easier to do. - They are here http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...EWNX:IThttp://
