New 2012 due soon, accessories question
New 2012 Sport in orange is due to be delivered next week, excited to join the community after a few months of lurking.
The only question is regarding the cargo cover. I'm pretty sure I want it, but am unsure of how much I want to pay to have the dealership install it. Any advice from fellow Fit freaks on whether or not it is worth it and how much they payed?
Thanks!

Install is pretty straight forward, shouldn't take long at all to do.
Here are the instructions:

I didn't measure anything, I just laid the seats down and then laid the cargo cover and lined up where to put the buttons in place to fasten the trim to it. Made it easier and came out just as good. Save the money and DIY.

Congrats on the soon to be new purchase. I just picked up my Orange Fit last Friday, you'll love the color!! I haven't done the cargo cover yet, will do soon, but it looks pretty easy to install yourself. Check out prices online before you buy from the dealer. I just purchased all season floor mats and door sills (yes the car doesn't come with the sills, didn't notice since the car I test drove was black) from Keenan Honda in PA. Better prices than my local dealer, even with shipping. Check out some of the sponsors of the site, they may have good prices too.

Thanks for the replies!
You all confirmed what I was thinking though, especially since the install does look pretty easy. Just wanted to check with some folks who might know.
And yeah, excited bout the color too, and the car in general. The 9th can't come soon enough!
Edit: I'll be sure to post pics as well once it's here

We decided to skip the cargo cover and will just tint the rear windows. Cost is comparable and it'll make the rear passengers comfy too. That's something you might want to consider instead.
The tinting will also help obscure the vehicle's contents from casual view when in cargo mode.

Only, install the hook part of a velcro stick-on tape to the flap part under edge. It should then hook itself to the seat backs. I don't have the cover, but on my daughters Yaris this is how tayata solved it. Don't see why it wouldn't work on the Fit.

I'd recommend the cargo cover. It looks nice, adds security, I like to imagine it even might help supress noise from the hatch area.
It's easily removable for those times when you need to haul.
I don't think you need to think either Tint OR Cargo Cover. It's perfectly valid to do both.

Agree, it cuts on noise from the rear. Have both cargo cover & tint. I got tint to help keep the car cool in summer-highly recommend it.
