Just saw this and couldn't believe it. I'm shocked.

If you haven't yet, definitely go to the doctor and get checked. I hope all gets sorted out and you feel better soon.

Sorry to hear about the accident, and hope your OK. Sounds like you made the right decision in that split second where other freeze, or make a bad decision.

Clearly, some of the idiots on the road, also frequent this forum. Some of the response have been comical.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I hope you are ok. And hope that your insurance company takes care of you hassle free.

Good driving!

Sorry to hear man! This is exactly how my first car was totaled, except it was too late for me to react enough to miss. I ended up taking out the front end of the lady's car.

If I do another Fit, we'll see how easy it is to spend $6k in a week on parts getting back to where I was at.

Get a grill guard and just ram the old lady if you see her again in your new car

Aww man I looked so hard for a white 2012 MT sport and had to settle for a silver one and now there's one less TW on the road because of some idiot woman. Typical... Don't mean to sound sexist, but 5 out of the 6 car accidents Ive been in were caused by a woman driver doing stupid shit. I also had to swerve at high speed and clipped part of my car in order to avoid t-boning a woman in a lexus who pulled out right in front of me. Glad you're ok and hopefully you'll be lucky enough to find another MT TW.

I do kinda wonder if the Fit is somehow more prone to front end collisions though. Maybe the brakes or stock tires aren't good enough or something. When I was originally shopping for a used Fit the only ones at a fair used car price were all rebranded reconstructed titles, all with front end damage. There seemed to be a lot of em too. I know I have to remember to really stomp on the brakes if I jump in the Fit after driving around in my old prelude...

A vast majority of Fits I see on the road are driven by women. So if your theory holds weight, then there ya go.

Huh, I'd love to see all Fit accident reports and see if there's a correlation...

The stock tires are utter crap, I can tell you that for sure.

The stock tires may suck, but the car can still perform one hell of an emergency lane change maneuver!

Yep. I'm bruised and beaten up but nothing broken. My airbag burn had to get cleaned up and I'm now on antibiotics for it while I lust over a particular S2000 as a replacement.

Glad to know you're ok BB.

Yeah, S2k should be able to handle "emergency maneuvers" a bit better.
