My 2012 Fit was totaled this morning.

Saved a life by swerving out of the way. In turn, totaling the car. The driver whose life I saved by not t-boning received two citations. The 2012 Sport is no more. Pictures coming once I get back home. Incredibly sore right now.

Single-vehicle wreck. I swerved quickly enough that only my car was damaged.

So sorry to hear this. If you are sore you better get checked out by a doctor and it is usually worse the next day. Take care---

I would like to add my condolences as well and good job in avoiding T-boning the other car! Wish you a speedy recovery!

I imagine the air bags deployed in the Fit?

Shit man I know how that feels. You ok? Nice job avoiding the crash. Are you going to get another fit? Or get something else?

Keep us updated.

The cops wanted me to go to the hospital but I declined. Burns from the airbag, bruises in many places, and very very sore, but not "hurt".

I don't know what will be next really.

Nope. They're in the process of being rebuilt.

Go to the doctor and I'm dead serious. I thought the same thing and X-rays showed two cracked ribs.

I used to do first aide as a first responder and I gave myself a quick check over and said the same thing you did. Go to a doctor and get it checked out man.

the frame rail is bent, so that vehicle does look pretty bad, what did you end up hitting?
I would definitely go see the DR
