2009 fit sport..... sounds like the air conditioner pump is running even when its not on. Its been that way since new ...but I do notice it every so often. Gas mileage seems to be the same with AC on or off. Anyone else have this issue?

 

Is the climate control set to defrost?

Defrost setting will turn on the AC compressor. Lets get that out of the way first.
