195/45 is the closest you get to stock rolling diameter and it is still within 7j specs. I can vouch s.drives... they're very nice tires and am confident with them even at higher speed 80+ even on occasional 100+

is 205/45/17 a bad option? i dont think it would rub with +47 offset. only slightly more rolling diameter

im just worried about this 'stretch' someone mentioned

if you check... 195 is still within specs for a 7 wide wheels. anything that is within spec is safe... nothing to worry.

Don't worry about the slight stretch on the 195/45 S. Drives. They are good tires and plenty people have used them (on 17x7 wheels) with no problems at all (as mentioned they're within spec). You'll also have less rubbing if any, but that also depends on how low you drop it. The odometer will also be closer to stock w/ the 195's. Check out the GE8 Swifts spring thread & the No-Rubbing thread for more info on other peoples set-ups.

Personally whenever I get my special rims I'm looking at 17x7 +49(or +50), and I'm leaning towards the 205/45s myself with no more than an 1" drop for dd. I'd prefer the wider tire.

Oooh, those 215/40's on the CR-Kai's are nice!!!!!

Congrats on the Work XD9's OP.... Works ftw! Can't wait for my set.

I bought S Drives due to lack of options and am very happy w/ them. I run a +40 and have no rubbing issue w/ daily driving.

@lowkeymods how do you not poke in the front if you have a 40 offset?
