Help! Rear drum brake noise

Hello fellow fitfreaks,

I just got my 2012 Fit Sport MT last month. very glad that i made this purchase.

So i've been noticing noise coming from rear drum brake when i press the brake pedal hard and when the car is not in motion. it happend after you drive the car for a mile or two or when the brake is warm up. its a creaking sound, sounds like the brake is really tight and the deeper i press the tighter it is which causes it to make the sound. the car brake smoothly and no noise when i am braking, only hear the nosie when i am stopped. the noise goes away if i pull my handbrake then step on the pedal.
maybe i am parnoid? or is it a problem? anyone notice this?

of course i took it back to honda dealership, and the tech said he did a road test and my car is fine... but i wasnt there to show the problem to him.... and the service advisor dont know shit....and didnt want to even sit in the car and let me show him the problem..

please help... thanks in advance =)

drum brakes have springs inside and you might be just hearing that.

search drum brakes.
