Engine under tray

I looked under my Fit and noticed that there are only two plastic side undertrays below the engine/trans. Does anyone know if a center undertray is available to fill in the gap? It appears it was designed to have one due to all the mounting holes for such. Should help with dirty air under the chassis.

I heard Home Depot sells them. Slight modification may be needed to fit.

I have not seen any pre-made undertrays besides Beatrush and that's just for the front quarter of the car or so. Even that requires modification for USDM Fit because the panel was made for JDM Jazz which has a different bumper.

Home Depot sounds good! Ha ha. Any reason anyone think of why a full undertray would be a bad thing? I'm just going to fab one out of plastic abs sheet or aluminum. Probably won't take more than 1/2 hour and zip tie it together. My two side undertrays were destroyed by a deer hit (deer went under) so I have a pretty clean slate.

Sometimes there's stability concerns if air gets stuck under the car but I noticed the appearance of mounting points on my car, too. In any case, if you mock something up, it'll be easy enough to remove if needed.

Especially interested if you get a fuel economy bump.

I want to know more how this went! I have to replace the entire undercarriage assembly/splash guard and wheel well covers and am looking for a better option than replacing them with the same 'weedy plastic'.
