On Rakuten, going through Tenso service, how can you estimate the shipping fee for an item? How do you find out the weight/size and such?

There is a shipping calculator at tenso.com. the hard part is getting the weight and dimensions. You will have to guesstimate. Small it go thru ems which is cheaper. While oversized items like bumpers are $$$$. The usage fee from Tenso is always 900 yen. Hope that helps.

Thanks Ryu. I was reading their chart (HERE) and it seems like a front spoiler lip is not doable through EMS. The last column indicates a combined "girth and length" of 9ft but the length alone can only 4.9ft. I surely can't fit the bless lip in that.

Just got a quote back from Tenso for the Bless front lower spoiler, 1,980 JPY Tenso service fee and UPS shipping fee is 66,714 JPY, twice as much as the front lip I found for $350. So, almost $1000 for a front lip.

Nah, I'm not gonna do it. I didn't even include the paint job cost into it, probably gonna round up to $1200. Too much for a front lip. I'm just gonna retrofit to the early GE8 front bumper and just go with the front Mugen lip, more or less the same (including painting the front bumper).

Man, I've browsed like almost 300 pages on Rakuten in search of all parts and product for the GE8.

Another question, if you order through Amazon JP, do they accept our US credit card? I assume foreign fee applies for us depending on the issued bank card? PayPal thru Amazon at all?

yep they took my US credit card. i'm pretty sure that there will be a foreign transaction fee, so i used my Capital One card with no foreign transaction fee. I didn't try Paypal.

Their promotion is back on again and it looks like they may raise the taxes in Japan soon so things could cost more.

Hello Guys

Here some pictures from the items I was buying from JAPAN:

Gathers Speakers GS-5060XL - Honda Access P/N 08a38-0h0-550

JDM Red Hazard Button P/N 35510-syp-003

Rear RS Emblem P/N 75731-tf0-003
Rear Oval Emblem Add P/N 08f20-tf0-000a

JDM emblem Type R rear P/N 75700-s5t-e01 (from canadian seller)
JDM emblem Type R front P/N 75700-snw-003 (from canadian seller)
Front RS Emblem P/N 75732-tf0-003

I was trying to use different methods, however I contacted directly to one of the seller and he send to my home directly, I ask him about the Honda Part number then he give me the price + shipping usign EMS is a very easy way, pay using paypal and the items arrives in 5 days.

These are his emails address y8s@ares.eonet.ne.jp qqne8sud@solid.ocn.ne.jp (Desir de Vivre)

And this is his store in Yahoo Japan

desir de vivre - Yahoo!

Hope this info helps you!!!

Regards,
Luis
