Thumbs up

Yeah I got in on the last free shipping one.. it was only 2500yen off 1 shipment, unfortunately the seller had to split mine b/c of the size so I couldn't use the discount twice... The Xmas one was 5000yen off I think.

Also had to email tenso cause my coupon didn't show up on my page, plus the seller forgot to put my TS # on the package... plus a consolidation fail.. lol... each took 24 hrs due to the time difference to get resolved... lol.. even with all that, it was still an easy process.

Auto-fold will have to wait 2 weeks, but the rest will be on within a week.

I recently ordered a shift knob kit that including the boot. It was $131CDN and shipping was $18 through tenso. From order date to arrival to my place was not even a week. Very satisfied.

Tenso.com is a Japanese warehouse that receives your product and then ships it to you. Small service fee of like $5 and then what ever your shipping cost is. Most sellers will ship free in Japan, so going through tenso is a smart and cheap way.

^^^ Congrats.

Quite easy, and save some yen.
If I were to buy the same parts I did off Japanparts (which I almost did), I would've spent atleast $400 (US) more.

Got my last package on Monday, all good, except that little $10 strap... apparently it went missing at some transfer point, BUT the seller sent out a replacement immediately, and it's already at tenso waiting for my payment... might have to add some Beatrush goodies to that shipment.

ryu, do you remember which vendors had good communications? Been trying to get a install pdf on the JDM horn, this thing's got wires/harnesses all over the place... same with that autofold unit, I guess most of the front panels need to be removed for that though (gotta re-read your process).

unfortunately i don't remember exactly. maybe it was desir de vivre.

if anything search for the horn again on rakuten, and email the shops that deals with Foreign Transactions. they usually email back, the ones who don't would never email u back.

last option, try our friends in Fitfans forum. Hiro has been able to find me japanese instructions on stuff before. maybe they can help.

Yeah, desir said they'd send me pdf's, or maybe they said some one else from their company would... translation difficulties. I emailed them again, but no reply yet.

I'm going to try to email some other vendors too. I thought about the br forum... Probably gonna try that too, cause some of those members might have installed it already or will definitely be able to help.. Hiro knows his stuff.

Thanks again.

Car's going in the body shop on Monday for some minor touchups (thinking of having them re-spray the JDM mirror covers also), and as soon as I get it back all these parts gotta get installed.

desir de vivre is a GREAT seller on rakuten...

One of my items got lost, within 48 hrs they had already sent the replacement to tenso... I asked them for 2 pdf install manuals, they sent me install manuals for ALL the items I bought. Just gotta make time to bring the car in the shop & install everything.

I should've tried this rakuten/tenso thing a long time ago, I think I'm going to try that request item thing teo mentioned... If they can find me my dream VIP rims I'll be set.

Yes he is. I couldn't agree more. I ordered a shift knob and boot for a 2009 Fit from him. We had some issues with my shipping address, but he was quick in emailing and fixing the issue. Sure I had to use google translation haha. Overall amazing. He is an amazing seller. I have subscribed to his emails to see other things he has for sale.

I do not use rakuten global market. I use www.rakuten.co.jp. Yes it's only in Japanese. Use google chrome. Find this site better then global market for car products.

Lol are you serious? "Face slap" lol. I always thought they were different. Glad to see I do it the hard way. Thanks for the insight. I am going to start using global market as it's its english and a lot easier to use.

now do know that if u set your shipping location to any other country besides Japan, you will get less hits. this is because not all vendors ship internationally. i normally leave it set to Japan, so i can see more.

grr. i'm having problems ordering from these shops. turns out some of them won't accept credit cards and would only do bank transfers.
