recommend a spot for brakes and rotors

Hello,

Please help....I bought some pads and rotors about 20k ago and Ii'm pretty sure the left rotor is warped.

These drilled and slotted rotors were not the way to go. Looking for a spot where I can get a good price on Hawks and Powerslot rotors....

any recommendations

What made you say the left one is warped?

well

Subie:

When I first replaced the brakes/rotors, I was unable to bed them in properly. My own fault, I didnt torque the lug nuts properly so I had to cut it short and head back to the driveway.

a couple of weeks in they were chirping but when moving. I replaced the pads (redstuff's) for some ebay cheapo special. They worked and I was happy.

20k later and for the last 3k there is a vibration that occurs usually when braking at high speed and a jerky stop at low speeds

I dont think its abs since my system has been disabled for about 2 years....this happened when I had my wheel bearing replaced. One sensor broke. I replaced both and still light didnt go off. Havent taken it to Honda since I worry they'll recommend replacing both sensors and maybe the abs unit....

In this area NYC Tri-State, I've heard great things about Dave Z. ---> Zeckhausen Racing

He used to post up here on ff.net, not sure if he got rid of his GE8.

Try some scotchbrite, fine grip paper or the like and give the rotors a once over. May just be pad build up.
