I have a Harbor Freight jack similar to the one someone posted earlier in this thread. Mine doesn't fit from the front, but I slide mine between the rear of the front tire and the wheel well... just enough space to fit my jack. It reaches up under the car to the [proper] jack point you're showing.

My mechanic friend showed me where a guy tried to jack his car up (2009 GE) somewhere around the radiator and bent it so badly he had to have major work done... it caused mechanical and structural damage. He also bent the crap out of something in the rear of his car not choosing the proper rear jack point.

I picked up the 2.5 ton steel low profile jack from HF yesterday. $85. I was able to get to the proper lift point from the front, worked great! Real easy oil and filter change.
