Thank you--those are great photos! Black does look right to me, didn't realize they floor carpet is darker than the seats. I guess I was too busy checking out everything else out in the car when I took my test drive.

 

I got grey Weathertechs. They show dirt easily. The factory carpeted mats showed wear in less than a year. If I had a do-over I'd get black Weathertechs from the getgo.

 

The factory mats do wear quickly. I considered the Weathertech's, but some folks reported the driver's side mat shifted around some.

The 3D liners haven't moved at all. Once you lay them on the carpet, you can't shift them around. It's like they literally stick to the carpet. I haven't been able to move them.
