Aftermarket Center Console

My friend has an Official Honda center console and I fell in love with it. I commute long distances and it makes things so much more comfortable.

I like it, but I can't say I $200 like it yet.

I just noticed there are some knockoff ones and at least one review looks decent.

Does anyone have any experience.

I avoided this one as the reviews are bad and the quality looks bad:

And ordered this one with at least one postive review.

Bought mine on ebay. Some good pics over there too.

Anyone have any experience? I'd love to hear from you while I can still cancel my order.

as far as i know, none of the aftermarket ones bolt to the metal brackets/frame underneath the center console. They just sit in that square "cupholder", so they wont be anywhere close in stability and firmness.

I canceled my order. You are right. I want it to be sturdy and the aftermarket ones just don't look that way.

I just got the Honda one on Amazon. I also balked at paying $200 but I thought that it was a pretty necessary piece of equipment for me & I wanted it to last (as well as look good.) Waiting for it to arrive - got the two day shipping w/ trial of Amazon Prime (note to self: remember to cancel Amazon prime later) as I need it for a 10 hr drive down to GA this weekend.
I will try to take pics of it once installed. I hope it is gray to match the interior. It looks gray in the photo but one reviewer said only black was available . . .

Yea I think it'd be worth it to spend the money and get the OEM one. I just bought mine on Sunday through Amazon (Paid $185ish shipped). I looked at aftermarket ones and they just didn't seem sturdy and looked cheap.

The armrest that's on it now sucks and is way too small and I find myself never using it because it's too cramped so I wanted the wider one for comfort, plus storage, plus the passenger can use it too, I'm sure my girlfriend would love an armrest.

Thinking about getting a center console. I have a single tiny armrest built into the side of the drivers seat. Can this be removed? Is there a cap or something to cover up the hole in the upholstery?

I purchased my fit over a month ago. And I couldnt track down a oem armrest in time. So a friend sent me a link to a armrest on ebay. Yeah I know ebay.... But it cost $60 total including shipping. It isnt that bad. Ive been using it for a month and Ive leaned on it a few times. Still works great. However it does mount to the area where the cup holder goes. It screws to the oem plastic.. I nut/bolted it. no complaints here

The Honda Accessory armrest has a plug for the armrest hole when you remove the built into the seat.

Yea with the OEM kit there's a black plastic cover with a plug to put over the old armrest mount. I can take a picture of it if you'd like to see how it looks

I don't think Zeta makes these anymore. Any other recommendations?

Why don't you buy the cheap one and buy a washer and bolt from Ace Hardware? You could even get a scrap piece of metal and make a "washer" the same size and shape of the bottom of your aftermarket armrest and make it really secure. Just my .02.
