Having a Taffy it was easy to give a different look by painting the diffuser. Maybe a white one on yours?

You wiper needs a massage to give it a "stiffy"

That is actually pretty ideal. IF the fins were a wee bit longer, then it's cake.

The question is, how much would this cost from JDP?

I don't consider this subtle... unless you're talking to someone that can't tell the difference between our Fit and a Hummv.

As for filling out the arch... the only real way is to lift it back up to stock height (or higher) and get bigger diameter tires. Of course, you end up with a lifted look.

Well, there is one other way... fabricate some "extension" sheet metal to make a smaller arch (with the focus right where the center of the wheel is). Not sure how doable that is.

Or maybe something like a "wide body" kit (though, maybe not so wide?!?) with a purposely made smaller arch.

A JDM RS bumper with Mugen JDM RS rear under spoiler might give you the proportion that you are looking for, and here are the pictures in black color similar to your car:

If you want the side skirt and the rear under spoiler to look like they have same height,
then you use standard USDM side skirt in combination with JDM RS rear bumper + Mugen RS rear under spoiler like this picture here:

and this one here:

because if you also add Mugen Side Skirt,
then the Side Skirt from Mugen which is lower then USDM standard side skirt
will again make the car look similar to stock where the side skirt are lower then the rear bumper lowest point (in reference to the ground),
like this picture below:

Hmmm...all good suggestions. JDP I'm sure would make a J's style if we can get 10 buyers up front. Running the JDP duckbill groupbuy was a lot of work though.

The JDM rear conversion makes sense but also a lot of work...guess it's mugen or suck it up and start the groupbuy.

First of all, getting 10 people to actually commit to buy (and willing to place deposit) for a J's style group buy is virtually impossible from my point of view.
Because our GE8 model is about to be replaced by a new generation model,
and GE8 had been around for years, so most likely the enthusiasm had gone down. (notice this forum had been quiet and more quiet each day)...

not many people here had as much enthusiasm for modifying GE8 anymore (to the level that you want to do with that rear bumper).

now for the JDM Rear Conversion,
Actually the JDM Rear Conversion is NOT a lot of work.
First of all, you need to take it to the body shop anyway since
when you buy a used (but like new) JDM RS Rear bumper most likely you have to paint them to match your car color since they again most likely is not in the same color as your current car color.

Second, all the body shop had to do is to chop / shortened the 2 legs of the rear reinforcement bar beam so they became closer to the chassis of our car. again not chop the rear reinforcement bar it self but chop it's leg.

The price for Painting and doing this modification for the rear reinforcement bar beam usually maximum around $700 at a decent body shop. (I did mine for $650).

If you want (dare) to make it simpler, just took out those reinforcement bar (they are attached only by bolts to the chassis).
In The Rest of The World (outside US), no Honda Fit or Jazz have any reinforcement bar anyway, so most likely the chassis of USDM Fit already
have a built in reinforcement bar and that extra reinforcement bar that we had is just a "redundant" devices required by US certification law.

The different is, if you took out those reinforcement bar then you just have to make a small welding modification to the rear exhaust hanger,
since for USDM, the rear exhaust hanger are on the "extra" reinforcement bar and not at the chassis.

If you do it this way, I think the cost will just involve painting and little welding for the exhaust hanger, any body shop should be able to do this for just $500 or maybe maximum $600.

The other significant cost will be the cost of "reliable" shipping for a used JDM RS rear bumper from Japan ...

Here is my thread about this conversion that I had done:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...t-version.html

no metal body panel need to be modify or change or painted for the rear JDM RS conversion.

Trust me, it is so easy (well, any body shop should find this easy)

The Mugen side skirts sit lower than the OEM Sport side skirts. The OEM Sport side skirts flow really well with the Mugen rear, which is why I didn't buy the Mugen side skirts. The side profile shot that 1SickVeilsideZ posted up is a great example of the OEM Sport side skirts with the Mugen rear.

What the! Your car looks great! Also, the title of this thread made me LOL! "Does my a@# look small?" I was just imagining my GF asking me that! "Well, er, ehh..."

Rear mudflaps could be a cheap way to go. Though they won't fill out the entire rear, they'll height match from a side view with the side skirts. You could even get them painted to match like I did.

JDM RS rear. That Mugen rear is so unfortunate with the dual exhaust, idk what they were thinking it's like the project was unintentionally misdirected from the Accord V6 design department and ended up on the wrong desk.

Personally I think your car looks awesome as-is and I would do nothing.

The Mugen isn't bad...it's just a little more "loud" than what I'm going for.

Think I'm going to sit on it for a while, maybe Mugen waaaay down the road, for now I'm going to leave it.

The guys at work thought of that idea also to "man up" my Fit. But, they said it would need to be goat testicles so that the scale size would be correct.

I like the original OP pic. It looks better than any stock Fit and better than any aftermarket junk. Good job.

I think the Mugen modification would ruin it. That rear valance just says, "I wanted to impress people who know that both exhausts are fake and just think it's cool to spend lots of money on cosmetic changes so I look like I have Japanese-market bad taste"

If you're antsy, take a pic of your car and stretch the pic in Photoshop by 105% horizontally. You'll be very happy

Thanks man I appreciate that! Your fit is one of many that has inspired me along the way to mod mine up. I'm about to get real deep into my car, more then I thought I ever would.

Back on topic, either way you go lowkeymods your car is clean and very tastefully done.
