I am thinking about installing mb quart premium series component and rear door speakers
do u think it is gonna fit in my 2013 honda fit?

 

Depends on which ones you're looking at exactly. I would use crutchfield as a source to see what will work and what won't if you're not sure. They're a good source for that. Most 6 1/2 or 5 1/4 should fit the rear doors.

 

front and rear speakers are same size. Id go for quality 6.5 speakers and amp them for added bass response and clean highs

 

Not sure what you're looking at spending on those MB Quarts, but Crutchfield has Polk dxi 5 1/4s and component 6.5s on crazy sales right now. The 5.25s are $50 for a set and the components are just $130. I had Polk 6x9s and 6.5s in my truck run off of a JL Audio A4300 amp and they were amazing. If it were my money, I'd buy those speakers and go with an Alpine, JL or Rockford amp pushing 45-60 watts per channel.

 

They will probably fit physically but if you going to be driving this off of the Stock head unit, you may want to just get cheaper speakers. Putting in High end speakers is like putting racing slicks on a corolla; pointless. you will never see the benefit of the higher end speakers until you have something that can drive them and produce quality sound.

Spend your money on a quality Head unit first, then work your way out to the speakers. I replaced the factory head unit with a mid-range double-din because I wanted bluetooth hands free, streaming audio, decent ipod navigation, etc... I ended up with much higher quality sound even with the stock speakers. When I decide to upgrade my speakers, I know I have something better quality than the OEM Headunit that can drive them.

Rule of thumb: upgrading the lowest quality component first usually gives the best bang for the buck and also sets the stage/standard for other upgrades.

You could do speakers first but may not really notice much difference until you add morepower or a head unit that produces cleaner sound.

I say a better head unit first before an amp or speakers.
