Hatch light does not turn off : 09 Fit Sport

Yesterday my 09 Fit Sport was vandalized. All 4 main lights were smashed and I believe they tried to pry or pull on the hatch to open it and get to my subs. Since this has happened my hatch light will not turn off and I can not use the FOB to lock the doors. Everything still lines up with the door and it still closes and latches properly. The only light out is my rear left turn signal but I will replace all of the bulbs just to be sure.

I have 2 questions:
1 - How do I fix the hatch issue?
2 - Is there anywhere cheaper then ebay to get replacement lamps?

I will be ordering the lamps tonight. Anyone have advice for the hatch light? It is killing my battery.

uh, take the bulb out?

There is a switched part that can replace the existing lamp off an Acura. link

If I remember I'll have a look at the shop manual tonight and see what the hatch switch looks like and if there's any adjustment...

I have been able to replace the lights and pull the fuse for the Cargo light. It seems like some times it thinks the hatch is closed and it allows me to lock the car using the FOB. The issue now is that the car alarm will go off randomly during the night and it kills the battery. Because of what I keep in the car I would really like to keep the alarm active. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

I looked at the latch mechanism in the shop manual. There's no adjustment described for it (just aligning the hatch), but that's where I'd start. Your "door ajar" light must be on a lot. If there's no obvious adjustment I'd take it to a body shop and get an quote to fix it.

Sounds like you have some sort of electronical gremlin, probably related to your issues from before.

Take it in to a reputable mechanic and they should help figure it out

It seems to happen more when it is below 0 so it might be water in something that is freezing though there is nothing obstructing the hatch and the door is ajar light never comes on. The only sign of the issue is the FOB will not lock the door and if the cargo lights fuse wasn't pulled it would be on but it only happens sporadically. I have a mechanic I can take it to next week.
