16x7 rpf1 +35
16x7 rpf1 +35
Anyone running rpf1s with +35 offset with 205/45 or larger tires. Looking for a set for autocross and don't want to run smaller than a 205 tire. Read on here that some people are running +35 and its rubbing the brake calipers. HELP please!!!
Not yet going to pick them up when taxes get back. Right now I'm just looking at what will work with min and max offset. I really want to run the 35 offset.
My street wheels are 17x7 40off 205/45. I was rubbing a little over hard bumps on lowering springs. I installed camber bolts and roll center adjusters and I don't rub at all.
The set up you want to run is very similar to mine. The only diff is yours in .2" closer to the fender... Which is negligible.
I run the rpf1 16x7 43off for the track.

No I dont. Your set up will be further away. I have set of 225/50r16 for the track, I have to remove the fender liners for trackdays.
running 195 55 on 15x7 +35 offset, camber bolts at front, minor fender mods lowered on s tech (1.6 inch drop).. and i dont rub whatsoever.
195 55 15 tyre is taller than 205 45 16.. so i hope u should be fine using camber bolts, and rolled fenders.

^^^ On a FWD less camber in the rear is desired, than the front. In order to need more rear camber; you would have to run ~2+ degrees in the front. 2+ degrees is a track type set up, not a DD. On a DD 1~1.5 degrees is desired in the front to maintain good tire wear.
So depending what you are running up front depends on what you run in the rear to balance the car. On a DD the rear is fine as is.
