Thanks, I did that at work with a copy of the 1st Siphon magazine in front of me. Mmmm, that Skunk2/Kraftwerks Fit is delicious.

That red Fit, it looks like it had an older gen Civic grafted onto the front. Eh. =/ Those lines are just not as pleasing to me. I'm sure it's a better vehicle regardless, but...

Not sure what your question is. Do you mean what old stuff will go on new Fit version?

If so, did you go to that J's Racing link, I posted, and see the new stuff for the new version. I translated the pages for myself. Their body stuff looks good, to me.... mmmm ........CARBON!

O.K., after spending some time tonight looking at Autoblog's galleries on both the 09USDM and 08JDM versions of this car, if I ever lost my 07 due to an accident (heaven forbid!), and coudn't find a used 07/08, and had to go with a second gen Fit, I'd do the full JDM conversion.

Funny, with the first gen Fit, both the North American and R.O.W versions look great IMHO. This time around, the nose job wasn't as successful.

i think it's kind of a draw on the new vs. old in terms of looks.

but at different angles, the nose looks a lot different.
like here it looks pretty good

I see what you're saying; what about the 08 model?

I think it will probably look WAY better in person, as the 2008 Accord did.

Thumbs up New York Debut of the 09 Fit

Bigger, Faster and yes, our 07 Fit is now outdated. I think that I will sell or trade mine for the 09. It has the great HONDA navigation , as an option. But it is my understanding that the new Fit does not have a spare??? Can anyone address the lack of a spare?

I failed to type this well but was wondering if anyone else is looking at some of the 2009 Fit stuff like:
Sweet looking Center Arm rest
And the driver left foot rest

And was wondering if they will work well on the 2008 and older?

I will be looking into that for sure.

Well, I have finally decided that the 09 fit will be my next car. That is, if I can get one of the dealers around here to give me a sport w/o navi for MSRP. I do not want to pay a cent over MSRP at all. Looks like it'll be time to start calling all the dealers for info in a month or two.

I doubt if you will be able to get what you want. I have already put in my advanced order for an 09 sport with navigation that is not white or black. My 2007 fit will probably be on the market or even used as a trade. From the looks of the gas prices, the 09 fit maybe quite difficult to obtain. In the Philadelphia area, there have been very few fits for MSRP.

I guess I won't be buying one then. Which is somewhat disappointing.

I will NEVER A) pay MSRP for any car and B) stoop so low and be so desperate to buy a car that others are killing themselves to buy. I'll leave that to the rest of the suckers.

spin out, it definitely looks better from that angle, and how many people are really going to look at it from a direct profile anyway?

But I'd still do the JDM conversion if I were to ever get one.
