Noone could tell me anything about the rear cargo light which cannot be shut off so the hatch can be left open...or forgotten to be closed. I found that the light goes off after 15-20 minutes if the hatch is open. Not even Honda could tell me this. Close and reopen the hatch and it's back on. Wish it had a switch, however

 

Problem for me was that it was too dim to see anything, switched to led and brighten things up. Same for the map lights.

 

"Switch" out the standard light for one from an Acura. If I'm, not mistaken, the P/N is: 34265-SFE-003. Easy no-tools-needed swap, works great. A replacement lense that has a switch built-in. Hope this helps!

I can confirm the part number referenced by fittmann. I bought two from Bernardi Honda; one for my daughter's GD, and one for my GE. Easy plug & play installation, took about two minutes each.

 

Did mine yesterday and changed out all interior bulbs to LED's. I can finally see in the car!
