Can't believe the Ford could be a better car. I loved the Pintos of the '70s bought into Henry Ford 's idea of a car that his workers could afford. They were not very good cars. We had 5 of them and a Mustang II.

Personally, I would get a cheap 2013 leftover. The more I look into 2015's, the more I don't like where the Fit line is headed. Only thing I like about the 3rd Gen is 130hp and 6-speed.

The extra horse power and 6 speed intrigues me as well, but the manual won't be out for months and I don't know if the extras will be worth the extra. $$$$. The simpleness of the previous generation is what turns me on.

1) DOHC
2) more HP AND better MPG
3) rear backup cam standard for all trims!
4) possibility of leather interior
5) possibility of sunroof

Need I say more ? The only downside is the thing is uglier than the hunchback of notre dame. Also, be aware that the 6th gear ratio is IDENTICAL to the 5th gear of the GE. Yup. No joke. Exactly the same ratio so it will not lower your revs at highway speeds.

Didn't know about sixth gear ratio being the same as 5th now that was a plus.
I enjoy the backup camera on wife's Accord.
