Radio Stopped Working!

Radio Stopped Working!
Hello,
I just wanted to share and perhaps gain some insight into an issue I've been having with my 2012 Honda Fit Sport M/T.
6/7/14 - Jumped in my car only to find that the radio wasnt working. No display, no FM, AM, USB, or sound. The only thing that would work was the CD and AUX jack. This happened around 34,000 miles.
6/8/14 - Radio randomly starting working fine for about 5 mins then went back to the issues described above.
6/11/14 - Dealer inspected the unit and found it to be faulty. I also have a video (which I will try and share later) that shows the problem. They said it will be covered under warranty and that I have 20 days from filing to claim to get it replaced.
6/12/14 - I went to pass a car, reving to approx 6,000RPM in 3rd gear, and the radio randomly clicks on and the display also started working w/ clock. The car Audio system continued working for the remainder of my drive.
I will follow up with more details, video, and final outcome of this issue.
Anyone else ever had this problem?

If they said it's faulty and their diagnosis confirmed that, then have it replaced. I wouldn't take chances with the faulty one, it's bound to go bad sooner or later. Faulty wiring or something with the radio unit.

As for aftermarket... I'm pretty happy with stock for the moment. Maybe one day down the road. Did you go after market? Are there any good conversion systems out there?

Solid advice, thanks! Yeah, my plan is to have them replace it but I am away on a business trip for a few weeks. I'll make the appointment when I finally get home.

Where did you get that amazing looking audio kit? Also, what is the switch you have installed near your VSA button?
Thanks,
