Speaker Buzz When Pressing Accelerator

Lately I've been hearing a slight buzzing sound through the speakers when I press the gas pedal. It happens regardless if I'm using the radio, cd, or aux. Has this happened to anyone else, and has anyone fixed it?

Odd; I have known this to happen to older cars but only on the AM band on the radio.

It sounds like there is an EM field affecting the radio. It could be some wiring of the radio has become exposed and EM generated by the engine/alternator is causing the static. Also possible is that the radio is fine, but one of your plug wires is loose/has gone bad.

i thought i was the only one with this issue. i hardly ever drive without music on, and i can only hear it with the windows closed so it's not a HUGE issue, but it bugs me.

what gives?

If you ever use the AUX port, remember to equalize the volume on the device plugged into it so you don't have to crank the radio's volume up super high. Making either the radio or device amplify the sound/music near it's maximum range can raise the noise floor of the signal.
