170k 2009 doing its first clutch job GE8 M/T

Daily driven ... bone stock ... Broadway mirror .... skunk2 shift knob .... and an awesome sauce smell good hanging from mirror are my only mods .... felt what I taught was clutch slip .. i order exedy oem clutch kit ... installed the tiny guy ... did new main seal and new axle seals ... and honda MTF ....

I will post pics and videos later ....

New clutch is in its wasn't clutch still expierence what I felt like clutch slip ... seems to be mounts are shot but I did realize that doing clutch job while motor was hanging .... so I'm shoping for mounts to do next car day ...

Only issue doing clutch job

NO ONE ON GOOGLE OR ANY WHERE KNEW THE TORQUE SPECS FOR FLYWHEEL ...

so I did have to use all honda power to guess 76 .. 87 ... or 90 ... common flywheel honda torqueds

did u do your own clutch job ??
What did u find hardest ??
What mounts have you used ??
Not many choices ...

Hi. I haven't had to replace my clutch yet. I look forward to your pics and videos so I can learn. I did want to mention though that I looked in the service manual and it states to torque the flywheel to 87ft lbs.

Looking forward to that as well, clutch is still holding up well with only 70k miles but I taught someone to drive MT on this car and also have supercharger so I want to have parts in hand soon just incase.

Also interested in your opinion on the exedy clutch. I've heard some mixed and some bad reviews on it. I may just want to go with a stage one type clutch rather than oem replacement but havnt seen to many available. I plan on replacing the master cylinder to get rid of cdv. Not sure if that will make a difference.
