So I rolled to 191k miles on my 2010 sport.
The car has been a warrior.
But the 1st non general maintenence issue is starting to show up in the transmission. Once in a bit it shifts hard.

Has anyone had any issues and what miles are you at?
I'm pretty sure my car was built on a Wednesday.

 

Consider changing your transmission fluid. When was the last time you had that done? I can't really help because I have a manual. I have a manual 1st gen, too, and it only has 100k.

 

change Trans oil 1st. If it shifts hard again , check if the 'D' light blinks...then you need to change 2 sensor in transmission.

Or swap to manual

 

I have 190,000 on my 09 Sport and haven't had any issues except the starter (which I changed out today). The transmission has been fine. Have you been changing out the fluid at the prescribed intervals? Have you been using the genuine Honda fluid? I'm not doubting you or anything....just troubleshooting. I'm interested, because if you have been doing the regular maintenance with the right fluids, it looks like I have something to worry about soon

 

100k and not a single issue. definitely get a trans flush. before you do, it might be worth a few bucks to get a sample of your trans fluid analysed. I know there are a number of places that do this but I've always liked Blackstone Labs. It is a few bucks for piece of mind or at least forewarning of a very serious issue (like maybe sell the car now before it becomes an large repair bill)
