I've already replaced the driver side air bag under the recall (replaced last year)..

Have there been a lot of deployments of passenger side bags? It's it imperative I replace the passenger side bag?

You can check here to see if your Fit is required to have the passenger side airbag recalled:

If not, you're okay I'd think.

 

If your car is on the list for the recall, and if you value the life of your passengers- I would have it replaced. I did. I would not wish to be in the position of only replacing the driver's airbag ( hey! I'm ok!) and get into an accident and have the passenger one go off and injure/kill my wife.....

 

Only during a crash.




This is not a matter of asking peoples opinions.
It's a matter of life and death.

If your car is included in the recall, just f'n do it.
Would you like to survive a crash, only to find yourself in front of a judge and jury trying to explain why you willingly ignored the airbag recall notice and your passenger was killed as a direct result of your negligence?
