Keys locked in car, spare key 100 miles away
Anyone have any suggestions for the best way to unlock my car without the key? My wife is out of town and locked herself out...
Does the door design lend itself to being wedged out at the top? I'm thinking that we could do that and then use a coat hanger to press the door lock switch on the interior door panel. Has anyone had luck doing this?
Any other ideas?

My wife got help. They used a wedge and an inflatable device at the top of the door to make room to drop a wire inside the car. Couldn't unlock the doors, but they were able to hook the key ring and fish the keys out.

Our old Mercedes didn't allow you to lock the driver's door when it was open, but she figured out that you could open the rear door and lock ththe front door from inside that way. And she locked her keys in the car more than once as a result. Usually I am within ten miles when it happens...

I keep a programmed key hidden in the car somewhere [not saying where ] and for less than $25, I bought flat metal key from Honda dealer. I keep the flat metal in my wallet to get me in the car door. 99.9% of time I have my wallet when driving while off the property. Saved myself a couple of times now when I put the "driving" key on the seat to carry something and then lock the door behind me.
