2010 Fit. Driver's door won't unlock.

My driver's door doesn't unlock with the remote nor the key manually, this in turn means that none of my doors unlock .I cannot get into my Honda fit .seems rediculous to have a single point of failure with one manual lock that doesn't allow any door to work when it's broken.

Any help is appreciated .

Google suggests try spraying key with WD40 and working it back and forth and respray a few times. A lock de-icer would work too.

Do you have spare key? It may be a dead battery in the fob.

He tried unlocking the door on the driver side with his key and that didn't work.

Most likely the actuator module on the driver side door has failed. Good luck with trying to get that fix if you can't get into the car.

There has got to be a way to get into the car when the drivers lock fails .what kind of idiot engineer would design a system where all doors don't work, when only one is broken .

WD-40 didn't work.

Did it open with fob or key?

Unlike the Base Fit that has a key on the driver and passenger door and a key lock for the hatch, a sport model only has one key lock.

I had the same issue with HondaAirwave, a tug of the cable under the hood gave me access to the car battery which had died.
