I just went outside to get in my Fit and pushing the button on my fob did not unlock the driver's door. Pushing the button twice failed to unlock any of the other doors. I could hear a muffled sound like the locks were trying to move, but nothing happened. I tried unlocking the driver's side door with the key, and nothing happened at first. After a few minutes of trying, the key finally unlocked the driver's door. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so what was the issue? I had a lock problem with the driver's door before where it was stuck in the unlocked position, but it fixed itself after a few months and started working again.

 

Ivymae: I just had the exact same thing happen to my 2012 Fit Sport. Long story short: I replaced the battery in my key fob/problem solved! The fob required a CR1616 battery. Hope this helps!

 

The problem ended up being a bad driver's door lock actuator. It cost almost $550 to replace the part at my dealer, but I didn't have time to figure out another solution since it's kind of essential to be able to open the doors of my car in order to drive it!
