I am wondering if there is a way to add this feature with a manual transmission model aftermarket. I still would like to also keep the feature of unlocking doors and trunk with key still in my pocket. Has anyone made this upgrade?

 

Check out fortin electronics, the have a system that lets you use the factory remote as a remote start by pressing the lock button three times. They also have plug and play harness's so you don't have to butcher your entire harness. They are the only remote starts in install now.

 

phillymacuser - Should you be asking your questions in the 3rd Generation part of the forum? I don't know if 2nd Gen remotes are same for 3rd Gen.
