Fit drives differently after work from the dealership
Hi, quick question for the Fit experts here,
I have a 2009 Honda Fit sport, I recently experienced a complete engine failure as a result of recall 11v101000 involving some springs in the valve train breaking. There was plenty of collateral damage and thankfully Honda fixed it all at no charge. Apparently the top half of my engine is brand new. However, since getting my car back i have noticed the vehicle drives a bit differently than before.
-When first starting up the car, the Fit revs up around 2000 RPM, much higher than before
-High RPM (around 2000 RPM) in reverse
-The Fit seems to stay in a lower gear slightly longer before shifting up to the next gear while accelerating,
-When I take my foot off the gas, the Fit "jumps" a bit immediately after, swiftly lowering RPM. Not a smooth transition.
It's just strange and different from what I've gotten used to. Before I go back to the dealership, is this activity abnormal? Should I be concerned with the work completed by the Honda technicians?
Appreciate all input. Thanks
