Changing Fuses on My Fit

Hey everyone,

I bought my second-hand 2010 honda fit base model about a year ago, recently some of the electrical components have stopped working, specifically, the cigarette socket, the Right Headlight High Beam and the driver's airbag. So I thought it would be the fuses.

When I checked the fuses, they were burned, they were not damaged inside, but the small blades were burned.

So I decided to buy new fuses and replace them, specifically I bought these:

Amazon Amazon

And I change it, the problem is that the components are still not working, I check the new fuses and they are not burned, I don't know why it's still not working, Could you help me?

Burnt would indicate to me that a huge electrical load caused those fuses to blow, and then some.

I wouldn't be surprised if the related wiring was damaged or destroyed too.

Maybe really poor grounding or a short occurred. Maybe it was on it's way out since you purchased the car. Hope it works out for you.

the cigarette socket,
Check fuse, check for power and ground at the plug on the back of the power outlet

the Right Headlight High Beam
Bulb burned out?
Check bulb, check power and ground at the headlight connector

and the driver's airbag.
What's the fault code?

That is really strange. Three burned fuses and the links inside of them are still good. Burned connections of the fuses says they they were not making good connection and got hot. If it had been an over current problem the fuse itself would have blown. You need to clean up the contacts in the fuse box on those three fuses and inspect them for burning. You might end up replacing those contacts.

Having three with a bad connection is really strange. Was this car in a flood at some time? or was something spilled in the fuse box at one time? Are you sure this is a fuse problem and not three different problems? Are the fuses the correct amp rating?
