2009 Fit Sport Weird Radiator / AC fan Issue going on and off
Good evening,
I'm having an issue with my fit's fan kicking on and off.
So out of no where or maybe i havent noticed before but when my radiator fan kicks on, it will turn on and off very rapidly for the duration. I've noticed few weird things that correlate to this issue.
IF my A/C button IS NOT pressed in and the fan is set to 0, the fan kicks on and off sporadically as well as the ac clutch moving along with it for the duration. You can see it in the RPM gauge as well going up and down.
If my A/C button is NOT pressed in, and i have my fan turned on the radiator fan kicks on just fine without turning on/off.
If my A/C BUTTON IS pressed in when the fan is set to 0, the radiator fan does not turn on at all..... and the a/c button is dimly illuminated. not fully green but dimly lit.
If my A/C button IS pressed in and the fan is set to on, the a/c works good and the fan kicks on just fine as well.
I've checked freon, replaced A/C button switch.....
What should i check now or replace?
Guessing the Relay is the next guess or check for shorts? I'm scared to take it to the dealer since they're notorious for misdiagnosing electrical issues and end up replacing half the car.
Thank you.
