Snow tire size question new fit owner

Hi all, I am the proud new owner of a 2011 sport/Nav. I've loved these cars for ages and finally got one! Today I am shopping for snow tires. My fit currently has tires that are 185/55R16/83h

I found a used set of snow tires and rims that are 195/55/R15 Michelin X-Ice snow tires mounted on 2008 Honda Fit Wheels
The offset is 55 / 15x6j

Will these tires fit on my fit?

They should, both Fit generation use the same tire size.

Can someone else confirm the info?

Yup, they will fit fine. I ran 186/65-14 snow tires from my 97 Civic for a while. Now have 185/70-14 on the same steel wheels. They juuuuust clear the front calipers.

I have the TPMS sensors in my winter wheels. I run with the light on in the summer. If you have traction control and want it disabled without sensors in the car, just unplug the button before turning the car on. It errors out after 30-60s while doing it's self chrck and shuts the traction abd stability controll off.
