That's just for a local competition coming up. So I'm sure it sounds like crap on music, haven't tried music yet and wont, just bass tones.

The port is 8 inch Sewer pipe.

My friend ordered the door visors for my birthday (they came a little early). I got them and installed them today.

Thanks. The grip is ridiculous. Today, I took on ramps at 60 mph with not one squeal that the stock rubber would scream at 40 mph The only downfall is the 100 treadwear rating

stock SKJ20DR out... Denso IK22 in

check these stock plugs out... at only 6K miles...

look pretty shot to me... no wonder the fit bogs before finally deciding to shift up or down

after installing new IK22... damn was I missing out on something! everything is just 10x better.
and to top all that... local driving from Arlington Heights, IL to Berwyn, IL yields 37mpg doing 30-45mph... that's one giant leap from my usual 28mpg!!!

Very nice! What did you gap the new ones down to? Think of all the timing you picked back up across the board, especially during shifts on your AT!

~9mpg gain tells me the ECU was running pig rich and pulling a bunch of timing.

But I just make this stuff up as I go, you know

Did you get my last PM re: cat. converters? Sorry for the delay in response!

im shocked you only have 6k miles on your fit. also, surprised you spent the time to undo the cowl to install the new plugs.

if its any consolation to EvoFit, my oem NGKs didnt looks as bad.

Here's your bad spark plug. We aren't sure on how many miles but we've narrowed it down to about 75k.

Heh, there was no spark plug left to speak of after this happened:

No joke spark plug was gone.. it blew out the top stripping the threads completely, pinged off the hood (and dented from the inside out) and was lost on the road somewhere on 294.

We have a whole wall of shame dedicated to some spectacular failures in my buddies garage.. in the background of that pic you can see a shattered control arm and piston that was converted to a strainer.. great for making pasta..

We have sheared timing gears.. input shafts with splines wiped off.. center diff salad from my last AWD trans.. you name it

How about a blown-up blow-off valve?

Sorry didn't mean to hi-jack the thread.. just going through my imageshack account and reminiscing.

Things fail when you are pushing the limits lol

Nice! If I had gotten a pic of the OEM Audi jack that broke sunday you could add it in. That was a ridiculous story that resulted in an ER trip.

Yikes.. everyone alright?

We just lost a friend's 2G DSM with a 2.3L (100mm stroker crank) fed by GT3586R and a Dogbox trans to a hit-and-run that totalled it in the parking lot at his condo. Fortunately no one was in it. I don't have shots of that either
